The fate of the poet is the life of Azamat Suyunchev fully reflects the fate and moral values of the generation to which he belonged: love for the motherland, honesty, conscientiousness, a sense of justice.
His father, Alim Suyunchev, was famous for the people as a storyteller and keeper of folk wisdom, and, apparently, legends and legends that sunk into the young soul of Azamat, strengthened the artistic perception of the world in him. Back at school, he began to write poetry and was the best receptionist of the works of classics. In the year, the wealthy peasant Alim Suyunchev was dispossessed, the house and property were confiscated.
A large family was in poverty, the mother fought with all his might to feed his family, his father went to work. After graduating from the 7th grade, the Azamat and his brother Yusuf are leaving for Mikoyan-Shahar and in the year entered the rabfak, where they paid a scholarship. Here, an inquisitive young man gets acquainted with the prominent Karachai poets Kasbot Kochkarov, Ismail-Jyrch Semenov, Daut Baykulov, Issy Karakotov and others, who turned out to be a lot of attention on the beginning of his creative path.
The Great Patriotic War found the azamat by a cadet of the infantry school in the city of Ordzhonikidze now Vladikavkaz, and in the year he took part in battles on the Don, where he was seriously wounded. For courage and courage, manifested at the forefront, A. Suyunchev was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the II degree and medals. Together with his people, he survived the harsh years of deportation, and his life checked him for strength, when he, a native of the Caucasus, drove caravans with camels in the Kyzyl-Kuma deserts, participated in the development of virgin lands in Kazakhstan, studied in which he studied in the Kazakh pedigree, and worked in the Kazakh school.
He was one of the few writers who raised the voice of protest against repressions in the USSR, being the author of the “Asian notebook”, which reflects the pain and tragedy of an unfairly punished people. Upon returning to his homeland, Azamat Alimovich goes to study at the Kabardino-Balkarian University, graduates from graduate school. For many years he worked in the system of public education, read a course of folklore and the history of the Karachai people in the KCHPI, and helped in the formation of young authors.
His first wife, Lyubov Petrovna Lukina, who shared all the hardships of the links in Central Asia with her husband, passed away early. Their children, Oleg and Tatyana, became scientists. But, unfortunately, the son, a talented biotechnologist, the author of many unique scientific developments, passed away three years earlier than his father, and they rest near the cemetery in New Jegut.
The case of Oleg Azamatovich is continued by his daughter Bella, associate professor of the Department of Applied Biotechnology of the North Caucasus Federal University. A friend, connoisseur of his work, the keeper of the literary house-museum of Azamat Suyunchev was his second wife, Elizaveta Akhmatovna. Over the 10 years of its existence, this center of spirituality, having passed the test of time, has become a necessary attribute of the cultural life of Karachaevsk, as evidenced by numerous excursions and enthusiastic reviews of admirers.
Azamat Alimovich inherited a poetic will: “In order for the voices of the singers of my native land to sound, I open the Litmuseum in my home. Let Pegas meet dear guests on the porch. Let the Caucasus be famous for the song, I invite you to the museum! Like Russian writers who came out of N. Gogol’s “overcoat”, the poets of the Caucasus can rightfully say that they “left” M. Lermontov’s burka, nurtured like mountain eagles under her endless wing ...
“Your poems gave me wings, a dream - a swift flight,” A. Suyunsh, admitted the love of the great Russian poet, did not hide the name of the Kurir. The fact of his discipline is the classic. In addition to love for poetry and the Caucasus, they are united by another, but already sad circumstance: both in their young years were in exile. In the cycle of “Dog songs”, consisting of three poems “The Exile Complaint”, “Hope” and “They say:“ Forget it!
And why my people suffer so innocently, why does the despot want that my family disappears? But this poem is written during the life of I. Stalin, in the year! It remains only to marvel at the courage of the Karachai young man who was not afraid to directly call evil evil at a time when it was scary to even think about it. But not without reason the poem is called “Hope”-it helped to meet a joyful day of liberation.
The ashes of the war are knocking in the heart of the poet, and he again and again returns to the heroic and tragic past in the poems “Ballad of the Mountain Orl”, “Ballad of the Maiden Spit”, “handed the hero Golden Star” and others. The author’s imagination recreates us with the image of a glorious warrior, whose body was stored in the glacier, "like in a crystal sarcophagus." The author compares the hero of the lieutenant with the eagle soaring in the sky-a symbol of courage and courage. The poet used the expressive metaphors “The glacier sparkles”, “in the mirror of glass”, the comparison “as if the face of the bird is imprinted in the ice - the wings of the outstretched eagle” and other artistic means and concludes: “who is worthy of folk memory, he lives immortal on Earth.” In the verses of Azamat Suyunchev there are a lot of sun and fire.
Even in the love lyrics of the poem “Princess of my thoughts”, “Birth of love”, “Unconducted joy”, etc. But they still jump in the mystical space “One hundred thousand fiery horses” The poem “How I am afraid to admit to you ...”. What is this horses? Maybe those that symbolize good luck in folklore? Or maybe fate? After all, it is not for nothing that the poet says: youth rushes, like a horse, and you won’t stole after it, but take care of his fire, hurry to do good soon!
The verses of the Karachay poet are filled with "a joyful feeling of a meeting with the beauty of the world." The eternal theme of the search for happiness excites A. not only in Karachay-Balkarian or Russian, but also in world folklore in general the symbolism of images has uniform meanings. These values are fragments of the oldest great language on which our ancestors spoke.
Ancient figurative thinking has been preserved almost in its original form in the poetic dictionary of any people, therefore, in the pantries of the Karachai oral folk art, innumerable reserves of true poetry are hidden. The plot of the Alyonushka ballad includes a folklore motive of the Russian folk tale and the mountain legend about the name of the deceased’s pitch, and he pops up from the river or lake.
The lyrical hero calls the heroine with him in search of the dead. The poet uses the associations of V. Vasnetsov’s paintings “Alyonushka”, introduces elements of symbolism, brings temporary layers closer. Alyonushka is a symbol of a woman who has lost a loved one, a symbol of longing, sadness, grief. It is compared with a weeping Ivushka, "a farewell song, which has gone into the Par of Rus'." In the poem, imagery does not only deepen, but the universal meaning of the military tragedy is clarified.
Azamat Suyunchev skillfully used the aesthetic and ethical wealth of folklore. For example, the river in his lyrics is a symbol of life and fate, which is all in the hands of human: let it spill widely, although far to the mouth - hurry, do good soon! The call "Hurry to do good! In the ballad “Memory of childhood”, the lyrical hero A. Suyunchev stores the most holy - the will of his mother: but I hear the voice of his mother now: “Be kind, son!” Give everything without doubting people.
This good spiritual light burns in his poetry and will always burn ... Time confirmed the correctness of the “poet’s voice” and gives us the reason to affirm after Evgeny Yevtushenko: “The poet in Russia is more than the poet! By education - a teacher of the Russian language and literature of high school. After the graduate school was completed, in the specialty of the Literature of the Peoples of the USSR, he worked at the Department of Karachay and Nogai Philology of the Karachay-Cherkess State Pedagogical Institute from up to a year.
He wrote more poems, dozens of poems, stories, stories, near literary portraits of contemporaries. Azamat Alimovich is the author of more than 30 books of fiction and scientific works. Based on the essays of A. Suyunchev, television films “Commander” were created about General S. Magometov, “Legend Man” about the hero of Russia D. for verses by the composers of the North Caucasus and Moscow, near the songs.
