Magi Mikhail Yuryevich Biography
This is a very sad and rather masturbate outcome, but, apparently, now I have just such a situation. I met with some of the not last person in the Republic of Komi, who at one time had a direct relation to the sale of the Syktyvkar LPC of the company Mondi Europe, in other words, with the former General Director Mikhail Magius. I thought that it would be something like receiving reference information about the events of that time.
And he took and said so much interesting! Photo from the Vagurreal blog - ... I left on August 22, and I already have no special feelings. Here are the first years ... And now I am already looking - the enterprise and the enterprise, lives and works, and thank God, well done! What to say here? All the more objective you can evaluate what happened 10 years ago. The same thing happened as in many respects and in the whole country.
When Yeltsin signed a decree on the privatization of the forest industry in 91, and it began ... strictly speaking, the privatization should not have been carried out by decree, the Supreme Council should have approved it. Therefore, now we can say that in general, all then privatization was illegal. But what to say about it now? This happened. And how was it implied? Or you privatize during the year - or in a year forced privatization begins.
Then the director was Kononov, he had no choice. We had a choice between 3 options. The third was for small enterprises, he did not come to us, there to a person workers. We had a choice then-either 1st or 2nd. All the Central Bank of the enterprise chose the 2nd option, but Anatoly Vasilievich chose the 1st option. Honestly, I don’t know why, I can only assume. Everything, as it was painted, how it should be.
Who came up with the methodology of privatization itself, I think everyone now knows. The American Harvard advisers who were at Chubais and Gaidar came up with. They were invited, lived in Russia at that time and advised how to carry out privatization. Was this privatization aimed at protecting a Russian citizen?
Well, let's just say: of course, no. It was designed to privatize the property of the country as quickly as possible, and then it is easy to collect from ordinary people for a bottle of vodka. Checks and vouchers. Which, in general, happened. Therefore, privatization in the country went to surrogate, wild method, forms. You can’t say anything good about her.
Enterprises were bought up for a penny, resold by the following, and then some acquirers appeared, which appeared in a few years. How was it? Check auction. Our Russian funds participate at a check auction ... They have loud names ... They somehow found this money, participated in auctions, bought stocks for denominations-they immediately resold these shares for the nominal nominal funds.
There were still chains ... - Yes. And then foreign funds ... And these went again for a check auction and bought again ... There were smart, nimble guys who just drove around the villages and bought ... Here it all moved like that. But there is another date: in May, the 15th anniversary of the sale of the interest package is sold by the Fund for the implementation of the Economy Development Program ...
As I understand it, the appearance of the Frankshah was also not an accident? For some reason, after all, they appeared? Well, not for a lot of money. Because the beginning of privatization is always associated with such ... and this is an inevitable process. What is AA? This is a family of shareholders, which many years old, probably for this family, and one of the main businesses, is actually mining, metallurgical, and well-known diamonds are “de Bears”.
Therefore, they had a lot of money, and they decided to send this money to the purchase of new enterprises, for expansion. Then they attached the 2nd factory for themselves, and there were 2 total factories in Austria. And then, when the eastern block fell off, they began to buy factories in Hungary, in Romania, in Israel a small factory, in Poland, in Slovakia, that is, they first went to Eastern European countries, but when the time came in Russia, naturally, their views were also turned to Russia.
There were no acquaintances and there were no contacts before. Then the state still existed. And by inertia, state power was still going on. And when they said: here such a delegation is going to you, then, in general, we somehow accepted them. There was also some respect for foreign partners, we somehow thought that these were very correct people, and they bring us a lot of benefits.
After all, how was it? When the Soviet Union fell apart, then the currency just disappeared in the country as such. For some reason, somewhere suddenly. Until now, no one answered where. And enterprises needed a currency. After all, Syktyvkar LPK was built on imported equipment, but produced products only for the domestic market. There was not a single type of product for export, and we did not sell anything.
And these 2 enterprises, on the contrary, were for export. Just like cellulose enterprises - Arkhangelsk, Kotlas ... there was a currency from them to the country. And we did not have such a product that we would export in those days.In general, no 1st ton has never exported anywhere. And therefore, we did not know what export was, and no one knew us. And when everything collapsed, it was impossible to buy currencies on the exchange or bank - no one sold it - you could get only your currency, from your export.
You had to sell the rest to the state. And the enterprise only 4, in my opinion, a million dollars had to annually on nets and cloth-in order to work BDM. Where to get the currency? I’m not talking about spare parts, I'm not talking about some kind of equipment, when the whole enterprise is built on imports, it must be repaired, the bearings are bought imported, etc.
or make a role cellulose on a KDM. There is such a product. He is not in packs, but in wound roles. This cellulose was mixed - coniferous and deciduous together. Well, they were supplied for a penny, because it is not a separate variety and not in packs, as usual from drying machines-in press parats, namely role-playing. Therefore, for its processing, a certain complexity was required - the consumer had to have a guillotine.
Well, in general, they just entered the market. And, of course, we were scared at prices scary at prices. And we had no other way out, except how to do it, because otherwise ... I remember, dollars per ton - for a penny we sold this business ... It was impossible to do anything: we needed nets, cloth and spare parts. Then, the next product, was newspaper paper.
This idea came on its own, because production on the 5th and 4th BDM ... In general, the 5th BDM was a machine that was made by the company Foite for the production of newspaper paper. And the car was almost put to us on the plant. But Balin managed to break through the ministry to give this “foite” car - since there was no building or structures in Kotlas, nothing, they were completely ready.
Then Balin insisted - and they gave the car. It was still believed that it is believed that there is a lot of aspen in the forest, low -grade, it does not go anywhere like business and it can really be processed in anything. And the world is still looking for what to process aspen into. Now the next of the ideas - and they try and do - this is the production of chipboard plates.
And here, too, there was an experiment: 1 was separated from the streams, and it was possible to serve an aspen there. What was done. But a few years later we left the aspen. She did not justify herself. The quality of this thermal mass is low, and the production of it is very complicated, difficult. And so both streams were transferred to the Christmas tree.
The idea arose of this machine to the 5th to transfer to newspaper paper. People were sent to Kondopoga, to Balakhna, we went to look. It was necessary to redo a little by car, I just had to learn. We began to make newspaper paper and made it very good. Newspaper paper has low white indicators. She is not white. She is not bleached.
