Actually Perm periods in the life of Anatoly Grigoryevich Soldatov were three. This is study, then the leadership of a huge, strategically important production, and the management of the Council of People's Commissars.

Not one book was written about Anatolia Soldatov, a lot of memories have been published. In his honor, a street in the regional center and the city Palace of Culture built on his initiative is named. The name of the most famous fathers of the city is associated with the reconstruction of the Opera and Ballet Theater, the landing of the linden alley on Komsomolsky Prospekt, the construction of a large number of residential buildings and the hospital complex, the construction of the resort in Ust-Kachka.

Our general became the legend of the soldiers already during his lifetime. A native of the Ryazan province, he arrived in Perm in the year and entered a rabfak. Two years later, he left for the disclosure of the People's Commissariat of Education - to receive a higher education. He worked at the Moscow Aviation Mountain Plant: since June, the chief engineer, and five months later - the director.

When the Great Patriotic War began, the enterprise decided to evacuate to Perm then Molotov, to the base of the carburetor plant working here. So Anatoly Soldatov, already with the rank of Major General, was again in our city. The evacuation of a huge enterprise in the most difficult conditions of the first months of the war is a separate story. It is unlikely that today it will be possible to calculate what forces were required, but, one way or another, the equipment was transported and mounted as soon as possible.

And ask quite hard. According to the recollections of those who happened to work with Soldatov, the general had an amazing property: he knew how to see the overall picture of what was happening, but in all the details. It was real engineering thinking. In production, he knew everything to the smallest detail. But at the same time he was able to delegate the powers and was able to build a beautiful linear control system.

Soldatov went to a risky reorganization of production, at the same time attracted a lot of money and human resources. It is easy to imagine what was waiting for him, do not justify his calculation. But the plant achieved amazing success. We were finally ceased to fever, ”recalls the veteran of the enterprise Peter Bakanin. In the second half of the month, the workshop worked like a clock.

And he began to supply AS for military aircraft in the right amount. From June to April, the plant eighteen times became the winner of the socialist competition among industry enterprises and was noted by the transitional banner of the State Defense Committee of the GKO. And on May 20, a rally took place, at which the Banner of the GKO was handed over to the plant for eternal storage.

To be afraid or admire? According to the memoirs of contemporaries, the head of the soldiers was very tough. He was focusing on him and turned to me: “And who are you, the party organizer? Some were frankly afraid of him, others admired him - young girls froze with delight when he walked along the workshop. And everyone was respected without exception. With all the inexorable demands of the soldiers, everything possible was so that the working man was full, shod and live in normal conditions.

He organized the life at the factory so that everything necessary for life was available right in the walls of the enterprise.

And if you worked very well, they added a spoonful of sour cream to the soup and gave a pie with cabbage. The factory worked hairdressers, and by the end of the war, showers opened. True, some things had to be introduced by order. For example, all workers were forced to drink a tasteless, but very useful drink from a fir paw so that they did not get a scurvy.

But the soldiers thought not only about maintaining the physical state of workers, but also about raising their spirit. In the annals of the enterprise in those days there was no event from which it would be possible to count the story. And Anatoly Grigoryevich created it. A solemn event was arranged, a real holiday was arranged for people. And they released the "Book of Honor", into which the names of the best workers entered the metal sheets in the method of lithography.

Anatoly of Soldatov, uncomfortable decisions, had special courage to make uncomfortable decisions. One of them belongs to the post -war time. During the war, graduates of craft schools - thirteen -fifteen -year -olds arrived at the military military draft enterprise. They had to be arranged, give them housing. Soldatov makes a decision - to build a jungor. When the war ended, and they had the opportunity to return to their homeland, Soldatov had to make a very unpopular decision: he forbade letting them go back, because someone had to make motors. Thus, thousands of young people became Perm, settled in the Urals, acquired families. Perm has grown by the population. Soldatov did everything so that their life was comfortable. In the post -war years, the appearance of workers' villages, for which the plant was responsible, was allocated by their grooming, they were completely thermal, utilities were recognized as exemplary.

After the cancellation of cards in the year, the plant began to create a chain of stores, libraries, houses of culture, kindergartens opened. The construction of the largest and luxurious at that time the Palace of Culture began. A large medical town was created, a night sanatorium for ninety -beds. The medical and sanitary unit, which was created by Soldatov, was recognized as the best in the country.

To live in a beautiful city, despite peacetime, Soldatov still wore military uniforms and was demanding and strict. They began to say that it did not correspond to time. And in the year the general was transferred to Moscow, where he headed one of the heads of the USSR Ministry of Aviation Industry. But after four years, he was again sent to Perm to the post of head of the Council of People's Commissars.

In fact, he continued the construction and improvement of the city he had begun as the director of the plant. He begins, as the documents of those years say, "seriously engage in the alteration of the face of the city." Under the leadership of Soldatov, houses, roads are being built, the Opera and Ballet Theater is being repaired. It was he who insisted that on the main street of Molotov - Komsomolsky Prospekt - not poplars, but linden were planted.

Soldatov believed that people should live in a beautiful city, so he did not spare funds for landscaping, fountains, sculpture, and took care of preserving the historical part of the regional center. For four years of work in this position, he managed to do a lot to make Perm more beautiful and more comfortable.
