The albums of the performer on June 21 - August 15, Viktor Robertovich Tsoi, was born on June 21 in Leningrad, in the family of a physical education teacher and engineer. Was the only child in the family. From early childhood, he showed tendencies for drawing. After exclusion for poor performance from the V. art school in his youth, Viktor Tsoi was a fan of Mikhail Boyarsky and Vladimir Vysotsky, later Bruce Lee, whose image began to imitate and became interested in eastern martial arts.

At the end of the 10th - early xs, Victor began to communicate closely with Alexei Rybin from the amateur group of Pilgrim. Then the punk group “Automatic Satishes” was formed, in which Tsoi and Rybin went to Moscow.

During one of these trips, Viktor Tsoi, who was singing under the guitar with the company in the train, was noted by Boris Grebenshchikov. In the summer of the year, the guys founded the Garin and Hyperboloid group, which was already taken as members of the Leningrad rock club in the fall. Soon, the group changed the name to the “cinema” and, under the leadership of Boris Grebenshchikov, began to record the first album “45”.

In total, in the discography of Tsoi and the group “Kino” - 8 albums, with such famous songs as: “The Last Hero”, “Aluminum Cucumbers”, “Mom Anarchy”, “Seeed the Night”, “Blood Group”, “Star named Sun” and many others. Victor is known as a film actor - he starred in several paintings. In June, the last concert "Kino" was held. After that, Tsoi and Kasparyan retired at the cottage near Jurmala, where they began to record material for the new album.

This album, reduced by the musicians of the Kino group after the death of Tsoi, was released in December and was called the Black Album. The accident occurred under Tukums in Latvia, a few tens of kilometers from Riga. According to the most plausible official version, Tsoi fell asleep at the wheel, after which his Moskvich flew into the oncoming lane and collided with the Ikarus bus.

The death of Victor Tsoi was a shock for many fans. Among many fans of the musician there is a phrase: “Tsoi has not died. He just went out to smoke. ” Along with all his musical talents, Victor, as it turned out, was also a very talented writer.
