Biography Vyacheslav Korneev
Vyacheslav Korneev. In mid-July, representatives of the Primorsky Public Organization “Contained” took part in the “Tuntari Musta-Tuntari” landing. This is the name of the annual expedition to the ridge of the same name, separating the Middle and Rybachy from the large land of the peninsula in the northwest of our country. It was here, at the only point of the huge front of the Great Patriotic War, for three years of hostilities - from the summer to the summer, the border has not moved by a meter.
He invented and organized this expedition and every year it is headed by the legendary special forces, a participant in many combat and peacekeeping operations, the author and performer of his own songs Vyacheslav Korneev, popular in special forces. No less than by last name, he is also known in his call sign: “Leshy”. The “contingent” believes to tell what role he played during the war in the coming days.
And today - an interview that we managed to take from Vyacheslav Korneev during the expedition. Question one: why “goblin”, where does the call sign come from, how does it arise? And the image of a sniper is similar to something so forest, mythical. Our commander, now the author-performer Stas Konoplyannikov. He built us-young scouts in Kubinka, in the OM regiment of the Separate Guards Order of the Kutuzov Order of Alexander Nevsky, the special forces of the airborne troops-the legendary unit of the Airborne Forces; Since the year, the regiment has been deployed in the south of a separate guards brigade of special purpose - ed.
And he said that we have 15 minutes to come up with a personal call sign. I thought, probably, “goblin”, I like this call sign. And when he asked me, I thought that for sure, in general, the special forces regiment was already “gobly”. I say: “Commander, I didn’t come up with”, he says: “Leskhim” you will. And today, many know me from the call sign, but do not know by name.
The legendary special forces and author of his own songs Vyacheslav Korneev. I understand that there is no point in arguing about the heroism of the defenders of this line, about the tragic death of many, many of our compatriots. But we had a lot of thousand -kilometer front from the Dniester floods to the very Far North; Here is Stalingrad, and Bryanshchina, and the Kursk arc, and the defense of Moscow, and the meat boron, which we recall with horror and tragedy.
A huge front and a huge field for activity. Why did this point attract you, why Musta-Tunturi? But it was this 5-kilometer section of the front from the Kutovaya lip to the lip of Malaya Volokova, he was not broken through the Germans for all 3 years of hostilities in the area. Well, secondly, here, nearby, I am a separate Kirkenes Marine Corps, with which a long-standing friendship is associated.
It so happened that in January of the year, I, another conscript, had a chance to take part in the assault on Grozny. As you know, it was a rather tragic stage ... - Yes, I was there in February and I know how and what it was ... - .... Yes ... and shoulder to the shoulder with us - in our house and neighboring houses - the Marines of the Baltic Brigade and a separate brigade of the Northern Fleet, which deployed nearby, fought.
I saw their courage and heroism with my own eyes. And it so happened that after this war I decided that I need to serve further, but already returning to the army seriously and for a long time. I dreamed of getting into the legendary separate th regiment. However, it did not work out immediately. The commander said: “You are a good guy, but we cannot take people, which is called from the street, from a citizen; First, let's go to the Tula division, get up to all types of allowance, and then we transfer you to you.
” I arrived in a separate intelligence of the Tula division, but the commander said: “You are, of course, good, but we can’t take you right away, let's first see you a year old, and then we will take it. And maybe we won’t take it. ” I come there, I say: "Comrade Captain, I arrived for further service under the contract." And he says: “Do you even understand where you are?
This is a reconnaissance! This is special forces among all these infantrymen! We cannot take you. First, let's go to the parachute company, there we will see you who you are, and then we will take it. Or do not take. " I went to the headquarters ... - Glory, I'm sorry to interrupt, but this story tells where the Leshy came from. It’s like a fairy tale about Koshchei’s death and his death in a duck, a hare, in an egg and so to infinity ....
I went to the headquarters, there was an assistant chief of staff of the regiment and he drew attention to the bar of the medal “For Courage”. Says: “Wait, soldier, who are you? Is it all that turns out? He immediately called the company commander and said: “Take the foreman! And during the year I served in the regimental reconnaissance of the Ground Parachute Regiment of the Tula Division of the Airborne Forces.
He managed to go to the peacekeeping mission to Abkhazia, where, according to the result of the competition, our reconnaissance group took first place, and I became the best intelligence officer of the regiment. And all this time I dreamed of serving in a separate OM regiment. And once I go to the dining room on the parade ground. And our unit - a company - naturally along the path.
I hear a call: “The foreman, to me!I turn, I see some major is coming. Well, I think, now I will find me for crossing the parade ground. I go: I, comrade major! I say "there." I go and think: a strange question. I knew where the north, we went to exercises, to various transitions. But I pretended to determine this on a tree, which I realized where the crown was tilted and so on.
But I was even more surprised when the day later he came up to me again and asked how the Azimuth of the Magnetic from the Directorate Undress differs? I replied that the directorate angle is measured on the map, the Azimuth of the magnetic one is on the ground, and they differ in the direction of direction. We studied this before the competitions in Abkhazia, and the military topography was then my skate ...
“Well done, says, go” ... - The second test is, as in the fairy tale about Vasilisa Beautiful ... - Exactly! But God loves the Trinity. He appears for the third time. Here I was no longer surprised. Although the third question surprised me a little. He says: “Tell me, Korneev, why is my name Sergey Yuryevich? He answered immediately, and he says: “Many are lost, looking for a catch ...” and continues: “I have a good friend, lay together after the war in the hospital, the commander of a special detachment of the regiment and he needs sensible scouts.
This is my dream! And after 20 days, with the necessary documents, he went to the th regiment. And not just in the famous Y, but in its most combat unit. It is noteworthy that when you leave, the company officers say: “You come later, tell me how special forces are there, what? And after some time I put on our form, and it was different from the uniform in an ordinary army, gathered all its equipment and came to the company.
He laid out everything, made such a mini-drill show: unloading, compasses-all-all that we had special forces. They look, they say: “Is it really all yours, or have you gathered better to surprise us? The most interesting was surprised that over the next two years, all officers of the intelligence officers of the GO regiment were transferred to the SE Regiment.
For example, my former platoon commander, he is now the deputy commander of the brigade in airborne training.
Another platoon commander became the commander of the Tula Airborne Division. That is, having left the platoon commander more than 20 years ago, he returned to the commander. A wonderful person, I had the honor of going to intelligence with him, he was my group commander. The intelligence officer knows from what is called the bottom. Knowledgeable people say that there is still a great difference between them.
Question: What is more complicated? In the war it is clear: here is a friend, here is the enemy, here is the conditional line of the front. In peacekeeping operations, as I understand it, everything is different? Because there is more the risk of losing friends and die yourself. In intelligence, to be honest, especially when you go to the head patrol, to lose combat friends is worse than to die yourself.
As for peacekeeping operations, there are such, you know, moral aspects. When, for example, we needed - we were scouts - to conduct a search, and we discovered and seized weapons, and sometimes entire ammunition depots from those people who we would not want to do this. Let it be there ... Because they are close to us ... But we must be neutral. Of course, I happened to see how the Americans serve and fight, and not only them; We had the Finns and the Turks other there.
But with the Americans we even became friends and worked together. The location of our reconnaissance groups was nearby, often held classes with each other. In preparation and professionalism, we do not lose. But, let's say, in terms of technical and in the organization ... Well, imagine if our group commander contacts the brigade commander and says: “We need a helicopter.” He will be sent somewhere very far.
