Bek Narzi Biography

Bek students are very in demand in the HoReCa market. What is the most important thing for you in your work? Why did you choose this particular work or type of activity? While studying at the London Art Institute at the DigitalMedia digital journalism department, like all students studying in expensive England, I had to earn extra money. I purposefully searched for my part -time job, it was in the bar, since it seemed to me that work in this atmosphere and communication with guests expand the horizons and psychological skills of a person.

I will not say that I immediately began to perceive this work as art, rather, more as a craft. And only about 7 years ago I revealed for myself the holy formula that we need to do what really enjoys, what you are really inspired. If you love your work, then you will succeed! What don't like what you are doing? To drink those who come to spend not quite honestly earned money. How do you plan to develop in this direction?

I am not going to work for non -professionals in my field and large corporations, which absolutely do not give a damn about my efforts and efforts. For the past 2 years, I began to move away from the bars that I oversee, casting my hand at creating my own base, where I make a decision and I am responsible. Do you work "for an idea" or for money? There is no Ikea without an idea.

At first - the idea, then - a high -quality, well -planned embodiment into reality, and only after bringing this to mind, they may expect money to us. The constant thought of money interferes with concentration and creativity. For “princes from mud”, I think, money is above all. Does your work bring you satisfaction or would you like to do something else? In a good way, I am “rushing” from my work, but every year of study it becomes less and less for me.

I would like to wider this science wider by dressing an apron and getting up with a kitchen. I want to become a chef a cook !!! Do you think about opening your own company or creating your own business? For more than 6 years, I have existed my own company, I rather think about its restructuring and globalization. What would you have willingly do if you had enough time and money for this?

I would be willing to buy the Bar Association of Russia, after which it remodernized its management and education system, giving it a new modern breathing with an innovative mood at a global level. Can you say that you are successfully realizing yourself? I do not think, to this day I am struggling with myself to learn how to realize my abilities that have been hidden in me.

Who did you want to become in childhood? How much do children's dreams have been embodied in reality? In childhood, up to 10 years old, I wanted to become an astronaut, from 10 to 15 years old, a Chekist, then, having got into London, my dreams changed, I looked closely and could not decide. Today my dream is to become an exemplary dad and a healthy person. Having gained all this, I will find the strength to conquer the world.

How did your professional activity begin? Of course, since childhood, I got into a bar because of a love of gastronomy, and love of food was born from observing my grandmother. She so skillfully coped with the task of feeding deliciously not only our entire large family, consisting of 8 people, but also guests who come to our house - all kinds of ministers and statesmen with their sidgets, visiting my grandfather almost every day.

I even remember that we had a separate house on the phasend, where drivers and guards of those who arrived, sometimes uninvited, guests rested in a separate room. So one of my grannies should be erected, because she coped with everyone 3 times a day, sometimes performing very complex dishes. Did your parents support you in choosing a career? As a result, I myself chose my career, but my parents, of course, supported and directed me in different directions.

My grandfather, a manager with a capital letter and a government official, wanted me to go to study in the federal counterintelligence service. My father, Honored Artist of the SSR, wrote me down in all kinds of circles associated with art, and instilled in me a love of beautiful. But in the end, my grandmother won, who fed me silently and insanely tasty. What is the most interesting or funny story in your work?

When a journalist came to a meeting to me to take an interview and called me a lot of famous bartender. Of course, I sent her home. She apologized for a long time, and she was very ashamed, I think that after this lesson she would go in an interview with the prepared. Where do you draw determination from? Guests and business books did you think what will you do in 10 years? To manage your own business in the afternoon and work in the kitchen of your own restaurant in the evening, do you have any desires that you can’t fulfill?

It is not possible to learn how to drive and get a driver’s license, all the time I come across some obstacles associated with my laziness. What books, authors made the most strong impression on you?

Bek Narzi Biography

My advice: don't go there! And if you think that there are no prospects and the right audience for a turn to your work, then I will not agree with you. Wherever you are besides Muslim states, there is a prospect and potential! You just need to work hard on them, in an organic way to make your guests believe, and then, of course, it will trample better than abroad. And here's another thing: no one is waiting for you abroad and nobody needs you there!

What do you consider the most important when applying for work? Tip for fans: if you are a fan and want to grow, then make certificates of the adequacy of the employer and his medical history, in general, you need to go where you feel that this is yours. Tip for not fans: - Do not go to the bar, you will only have harm. Everyone should be a fan of their business, this applies to the bus driver, and even a watchman in a public toilet.

What should you pay attention to when writing a resume? There must be the truth and only the truth! Because the earth is round, and our industry is one tiny village. I do not particularly pay attention to the resume, sometimes liars provide a resume more beautiful than the resume of Barack Obama. And talented, but not experienced guys, sometimes bring a very meager and modestly composed resume.

What was the most difficult when applying for a job? In the first months of work? If you answer, as a manager who has come to a new job, then the most difficult part is to delve into a rotten existing system, which then should be smoothly and skillfully eradicated, replacing it with your own. What questions for an interview when applying for a job are you the most remembered?

I am not so often in such an interview, but basically everyone is interested in the question of my origin. Apparently, the personality is colorful - it is not like English, even more so, and even to Tajik. Where did you learn languages? Was it easy for you? How much time it took to study. English, Persian native, but 3 with minus, Swedish, but there is not enough practice to maintain it, I begin to forget.

Any language is complicated, the knowledge of languages depends on whether a person is prone to them. To the question - whether I am inclined, the answer will be - not the same as managing people. If you made questions for the interview, what would you like to ask another person about work? What questions would you ask? I have one question on which it depends on, is it worth asking the rest: why did you come here?

And, if his answer takes less than 2 minutes, I will send even the most charismatic candidate home. What would you advise the bartenders of Odessa to achieve success? There is less envy of each other, from which Moscow bartenders famous gurmen suffer chronically, and you love your job more and are proud of your profession, because it is the best in the world, but few people know about it, and your love will be heard.

And when this happens, you will be able to leave the motherland! Thank you so much from all readers to our guest Bek Narzi. The following interviews are waiting in offline in Odessa! Interview by Julia Ulyanov.
