I joined the I Love Swimming group, Masters. They swim twice a week in Olympic at 7 in the morning.
The group is difficult to find, there are almost no truth. I run dozens at a pace of 5 minutes. The running form leaves even faster, and until the start of the ski season I will continue to run in supporting mode. And probably this will be the last season with skis. The coach puts in the IM Texas plan, this is April. And try to get to the "island" according to the results of this start.
Then I ran a lot on skiing, on average 3 times a week. At the same time, I twisted the machine 6 times for all the off -season. The skis and a bicycle are similar in mechanics and then to switch from skiing to a bicycle, I need two weeks. It turns out great synergy. I skate only, I do not do the classics. I planned that I was sailing for this year only 23 times in the pool, which is very few!
This is only once a week of swimming. Sports biography? There were no phenomenal results, it was simply in the team of the university. And now adding to any group is cool. Each group motivates! Sometimes, when you swim yourself, you begin to count every tile, people on the path, look at the clock and dream of a sauna. And today I looked at my watch for the first time and there were already three kilometers.
He ran at school, periodically performed at school competitions. This is not a sports school, but the physical instructor saw something in me. Probably the ability to endure at a distance. Usually it was a cross, 5-10 km. I did not take any high places, but it was an excellent OFP. And there were a lot of skis. Polten your path in the triathlon began immediately from half, or did some starts just did not get into statistics?
The first start is an MTB sprint in May. It was fun, there I first “went” by bicycle, through the steering wheel. All according to the classical program, when I am very confident in yourself and resting with all your might. He got up, finished the competition and only then realized that he had cracked his helmet. I started to ride a highway another year. But it was an incomplete season, as I was knocked down by a car when I was traveling on a bicycle.
It was unpleasant enough, but everything was in order with me. True, then the highway bicycle faded into the background. In the year, I bought a carbon bike for Shimano, and the previous one seemed to be chrome-molibden. I approach the purchase of equipment and things since the basic levels. Not immediately, but I still bought Scott Plasma. In January, I met Misha Gromov. Prior to this, there was a meeting with Viktor Landov, with whom it turned out, we previously worked together at the bank.
It so happened that meeting with Vitya, I have already signed up on a half. B - one, B - three, B - two. It feels very difficult to give. In the year I still had the first Marathon of the Moscow marathon, you do not always need to start a lot. The concept of the year was to try to start more. There were many good starts: three marathons, one of which is Anapa - Abrau Durso.
But all this lay on his feet. Such a running volume must be reinforced with a bicycle, as showed the successful season of the year. This season there was a bicycle base, I drove order of KM. And it was the right symbiosis. In general, you need to engage in all three sports. I tried to focus on one thing, but good synergy is obtained from training all three types. Even four are still skis.
How did this start remember? The slots quickly end, but they can be “caught” in December. In fact, July for the first start is a little early. Ideal for our climate is a start in Copenhagen, the end of August. The ideal ratio when you can add even more a bicycle to the preparation. In my case, this is still a plus km. Copenhagen this year coincided with a sprint in Krylatsky, which is also a great start.
The short distances have its own charm: "It was only an hour and shot." Everything happens dynamically, you usually meet many acquaintances and friends. And in the same year he finished on a marathon in New York for the conquest of these numbers - is this the main goal of the year? And it was necessary to somehow be distracted. Sports are very good for all this in general. Yes, it is important for me to put boxes opposite some of my targets.
This is all the journey, but not the final stop. Yes, we make the first IM and hope to improve time, but I did not think that I would enter these 10 hours.
But still it turned out, a successful marathon for probably, including, because it did not finalize on a bicycle. In fact, Copenhagen is hard weather, it was cold! It can go snow, rain with a gusty wind, then suddenly for two hours the sun, and so the whole bicycle store. This does not allow to be bored. The goal of getting out of 3 hours arose after a strong running stage in Copenhagen.
The marathon in New York is a super place, everyone should visit everyone! Both in the city and on the marathon especially.I tried several times to register through the lottery, but there was a very low percentage of hit. This year I was able to get to New York through 42KM. The marathon itself is very difficult, especially the second half. At 24 km there will be a bridge between Quins and Manhattan, it blows strongly, the rise and speed falls.
You need to be prepared for this. But this is difficult: everyone has a plan to the first blow to the face. I managed to join the group and tolerate in the second half. In April, I want to go to Pyongyang, North Korea, there is a marathon that has a bronze label of the Athletics Federation. I have long wanted to go to this country, because it is not the fact that in 5-10 years it will still exist.
It will be winter training. But I do not see problems to add training in the arena to skiing.
