Biography of Elena Demchenko
FULL NAME: Demchenko Elena Valerievna Place of work: Dr. Aronova Mental Health Center, psychologist, psychology teacher, communications expert, I grew up by sociable and inquisitive child. Early, about five years old, learned to read. I loved to imagine myself as a doctor: all the bears and dolls had cards, I wrote them out recipes. She was not at all shy to speak in public.
I remember how the twin sister and I inspiredly performed the children's song “I am not a closet or a museum-to keep secrets from friends” before vacationers in a sanatorium. Already at school, I was an unchanging host of all concerts. Sometimes I announced ... myself: I graduated from a piano music school in the class, so participating in concert programs was familiar to me.
I remember a special thrill in the stage and this feeling is when the attention of all is riveted to you. Scary and inspiring at the same time! Then all this in some unusual way was embodied in my current activity: I work in a medical center, engage in teaching, project activities, and weaners. We can say that all my life I have been engaged in communications with people.
I studied well at school, I have a silver medal. She always seriously treated studies.
I don’t remember the case that I went to school with an unacceptable lesson, I would be ashamed. I have never received a deuce! She loved mathematics, chemistry - was the best in parallel, which was unusual for the French special school. Humanitarian disciplines were easy for me. My grandmother in my father’s line taught mathematics at school all her life.
In childhood, it seemed to me that all the inhabitants of the city of Zheleznovodsk were its students. Everyone knew grandmother! My father taught physics and a number of technical disciplines at the Volgograd Polytechnic University for more than forty years. At the age of 30, he defended his thesis, which was quite early for that time. He has a lot of scientific works, dozens of graduate students defended themselves under his scientific leadership.
At some point, his father went through an annual course of studying a foreign language, he was prepared for work at the foreign branch of the university. The business trip did not take place, but in English he spoke freely and became famous at the institute also by taking exams with foreign students in English. For the 10s of the last century, this was a unique phenomenon. Until now, my father is the most authoritative person in the world for me.
I felt an interest in science quite late. I consider myself more a practitioner than a theoretician. For some time I spoke tightly to work with representatives of national republics, the heads of national public organizations. There was so much interesting material that I wanted to summarize and analyze! Thus, the idea of scientific work and the author’s course on the history of Udmurts, representatives of the Finno-Ugric peoples, which I embodied within the walls of my native Pystfak Moscow State University named after Gradually, the Russian -speaking diaspora of the far abroad fell into the sphere of my scientific interests.
An equally interesting direction for me is the theory of communication. This is an interdisciplinary area of knowledge, in which there are many from the psychology of communication, linguistics, history. And, of course, my many years of experience of expert practitioners came in handy. My work today is more related to teaching, transmitting knowledge. I think this is my mission.
I also conduct master classes for students, I am a permanent expert of a number of central publications, they often turn to me for comments on various topics related to psychology. I was born and grew up in an era, when familiarity and predictability were encouraged. To be like everyone else was the key to a successful life. We were surrounded by templates and stereotypes.
But the world, he is different! It is very important for me to have the right to choose, to be yourself. Another of my value is constant self -education. It is sad for me to think that human life is limited, and I will not physically learn a lot. We must never forget that interesting work, science, career is, of course, wonderful, but the world around, it is much larger!
We must find time for travel, friends, hobbies, sports. Only then can you feel the fullness of life and become truly happy. Look for a balance! In the middle of the last century, the great physicist, the Nobel Prize laureate, Lev Landau, brought the formula for happiness. It is very simple, like everything brilliant: work, love and communication with people. Provided, of course, that all these components bring a person joy.
But they should be in the life of everyone who wants to live happily.
