I knew many of them well, but that day I especially felt how melodic these songs were, how nice it was to sing them. Classes, which we tried not to be late, and even more so, not to miss them, were very interesting, and there were still consolidated rehearsals, concerts, touring trips ... All this filled life to the edges with great joy. Unnoticed, gradually taught us the rules of good tone, taught to always be friendly and modest.

And it was right. I remember with what joy and pride I reported at school that I was accepted into the choir of the Loktev ensemble, and with what respect both teachers and school comrades looked at me. Not only teachers of the choir taught us. One look at Elena Romanovna Rosse, an unsurpassed choreographer, forced to stretch out into the string. And the girls involved in choreography are all beautiful.

Such they were elegant and exquisite. So I wanted to be like them at least a little. Viktor Semenovich Chunin - nervous, gusty, very sensitive and very kind. Consolidated rehearsals under his leadership have always been a holiday, although we worked pretty for them. It was necessary to study well. For bad grades, they could have excommunicated from classes in the ensemble before they are corrected, and missing classes, even due to illness, seemed a big misfortune.

After all, for these classes, the choir could learn new works, a consolidated rehearsal or even performance could go through, and it would be very insulting to deprive itself of such joyful events. In Sochi! Vladimir Sergeevich Loktev, and then Alexey Sergeyevich Ilyin, together with the teachers of the ensemble, created the territory of kindness, on which it was good for every child who came here to study.

Over the years, entering the ensemble became more and more difficult.There were a lot of children and parents who dreamed about this and it was already difficult to accept everyone who wanted to. In the years, about one and a half thousand children had been involved in the ensemble. But the tradition of Vladimir Sergeyevich - to every child who came to the ensemble, try to find the matter to his liking and according to his abilities - continued by Alexey Sergeyevich Ilyin.

The seriously ill Loktev himself asked his associate to become the head of the team. Aleksey Sergeevich taught string instruments in the ensemble for a year, was the head of the orchestra. In the year, Nadezhda Sergeevna Nadezhdina, the creator and artistic director of the choreographic ensemble “Birch”, invited him to create an orchestra, and up to a year, Alexei Sergeyevich worked in “Birch”.

The wise Loktev knew that Ilyin would succeed, because Ilyin also loved children very much. It was remembered that every year during the reception, Alexei Sergeyevich himself participated in the views in choreographic classes, and then gathered those guys who did not go to the choreography, and led them to listen to the choir or to the orchestra. He talked about the tools, brought the children together parents to classes of installed teachers.

Alexey Sergeyevich Ilyin in the ensemble there are many good traditions. One of them: the laying of flowers to the monuments of the dead soldiers in all cities, where the ensemble came on tour. And one of our Bayanists took off the pioneer tie from his chest, which he was very cherished, and tied it on a monument. And his tie was a special, very beautiful scarlet color. Such ties in the USSR were not sold. And also - the birthday congratulation right on the stage if the birthday coincided with the concert day. The guys who are so lucky when the artistic director himself congratulates you on the stage, and also the choir will sing the Loktevsky congratulatory song, they remember this event all their lives.

Graduates told me that that birthday was the most unusual and joyful. This tradition is continued by the current leader of the ensemble Leonid Mikhailovich Fradkin. I think that the current pupils dream that their birthday falls on the day of a large concert of the ensemble. The ensemble today is impossible to imagine the Moscow Palace of Pioneers without a song and dance ensemble V.

He is rightfully considered the pride of the palace. Concerts of the ensemble are always a holiday, both for children participating and for listeners, since children are highly professional, sincere, touching. The ensemble has already raised several generations of musicians. But the main thing, not even this, but that high universal culture that the children carry, having left the ensemble from the ensemble to a big adult life.
